Complete Lifestyle Photography bio picture

A brief history...

Thank you for taking the time to come and look at my work.  This is my passion, its all I have ever known.  Most text books will tell you that a bio should be written in the 3rd person, thats just not me.  I am personable, I am interested in you and I want you to be interested in me.  Writing about my life in the 3rd person just doesn't seem to make sense if we want to be friends.  I graduated from Fitchburg State College in 2001 with a degree in communications media.  I'd like to say I never use what I learned in school, but it just wouldn't be true.

I received a very classical technical education in photography, I learned about FILM.  I have translated that knowledge across the digital divide and now throughly enjoy the new media that is digital photography.  But frankly I care less about pixels and more about people.  I try to tell a story with each assignment, with each image.  Thats the beauty of a photograph, its just a moment that would have passed by so quickly that you might not have even seen it... but now you can look at it and remember those feelings anytime you wish.

That is my mission, to make those fleeting moments stand for all eternity.  To share with future generations.  I can't wait to meet and talk about your event weather its a wedding, bar/bat mitzvah or a family portrait...

A year in the life, at 3 months…

I am working on a year in the life project of our good friends new addition. It has been a joy to see this little guy grow. We started with the maternity then did a new born session and now we are at 3 months! Since I no longer live 5 mins away it just so happened that this session could take place while they were on vacation near us in New Hampshire.

Newborn…

I had the pleasure of visiting friends who are the proud parents of a new baby boy.  I had the plesaure of photographing them while baby was still just a bump, and now he’s a living, breathing, wiggling little man…

A happy find…

While working last Saturday on Newbury Street in Boston I happened upon an incridibly cute scene which I had to photograph.  These two little girls were just playing as it started to rain and I couldn’t help myself.  Sadly after I asked permission from their father all they wanted to do was pose for the camera.  Though after a few seconds they lost interst with me and went back to playing with their umbrellas :)

A blessed event…

I was fortunate enough to be invited to photograph a bris last week. I have photographed several and this one was no different, it was so touching to see this ritual. The families were so touched by what happened almost everyone cried at some point, (ok not me but everyone else)

If your not famillar with it a quick search will tell you all you need to know about a bris and is signficance to the Jewish people.
